Reincarnated as a Sword Season 2 is set to debut on September 30, 2026, with an early streaming release, followed by its television debut on October 7. The anime's second season will be streamed on HIDIVE, with an English-subtitled trailer revealing the opening and ending theme songs. FZMZ performs the opening theme, 'Dream of Butterfly', while Hanabie. performs the ending theme, 'Baribari Buddy'. The anime will also air on ABEMA, Tokyo MX, and ABC TV, with episodes premiering a week early on ABEMA. HIDIVE will also screen the North American premiere of the new season at Anime NYC, featuring director Shinji Ishihira and producers Yōsuke Shimada and Genta Ozaki. The anime is based on the light novel series of the same name by Yuu Tanaka and LLO, with illustrations by LLO. The first season premiered in October 2022, and episodes debuted a week early on ABEMA. The series stars Ai Kakuma as Fran, Shinichiro Miki as Master, and Yuma Uchida as Jean du Vix. Shinji Ishihira returns to direct the anime at C2C, with Takahiro Nagano writing and supervising the scripts. Atsuko Saito designs the characters, and Yasuharu Takanashi composes the music. Additional staff includes Kazunobu Shimizu as assistant director, Shinya Asanuma as master design, and Chie Sakurai as monster design. The anime will also feature a manga spinoff titled 'Tensei Shitara Ken Deshita My Dish' by Ituki Fujioka, launching on Micro Magazine's Comic Ride service on September 30. Seven Seas Entertainment has licensed both the original light novels and the manga adaptation for English release, and they have also launched audiobooks of the novels narrated by Josh Hurley. Hinako Inoue launched a manga spinoff titled 'Tensei Shitara Ken Deshita: Another Wish' in June 2020, which ended in March 2023.
